Procedure

On your second visit, he will remove the portion of the enamel from each affected tooth and replace it with temporary veneers. While wearing the temporary veneer, you need to be careful by brushing gently and avoiding certain foods. Dr. Cutler will go over that with you.

On your third visit, he will remove your temporary veneer and insert your new permanent veneers by cleaning the underlying tooth and permanently bonding the veneer in place.
If you experience some discomfort following the procedure, you may take an over the counter pain medication and use a cold compress. It takes a little time to adjust to your new teeth.

Don’t forget to brush and floss at least once and preferably twice daily. Avoid biting hard on food or objects that can damage your new veneers. Consider using a mouth guard when involved in physical activities.
